You know that feeling after a really good burn? The one where you’re buzzing with creativity, connection, and maybe a little bit of dust? We’re bottling up that magic and bringing it to Ashland! The Southern Oregon Burners present a full day of art, music, community, and shenanigans.
 
Come reignite your spirit, meet your fellow burners (and burner-curious friends!), and keep the flame alive. All are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the playa or just wondering what all the fuss is about. Join us for our 2nd Annual Afterburnt, an event celebrating the Southern Oregon Burners community in 4 different locations across downtown Ashland
 
Dance to the music. Gaze at the art. Sit and sip at the tea ceremony service. Watch as the flames spin round and round  the fire dancers. Enjoy the performance from local Burning Man camps and Burners alike 
 
Whether you’ve been to Burning Man over 20 times or never before, everyone is welcome.

Southern Oregon Burners Presents: AfterBurnt 2024 was so much fun, we thought, “why not do it again?!” In true Burning Man fashion, we wanted to do things a little different this year– spreading out across multiple locations, spanning from daytime through to the night, and crafting experiences that bring joy to every age in town.

Ashland Plaza Gathering

Think of this as our "Center Camp." It's the perfect place to meet up with old friends, make new ones, and soak in the good vibes. We'll have art installations to delight your eyeballs, chill spaces to rest your weary feet, and plenty of opportunities to connect with your community.

Who says the adults get to have all the fun? We're giving the little burners a chance to get their groove on! Our kid-friendly silent disco is the perfect place for them to bust a move, express themselves, and maybe even teach us a thing or two about dancing like nobody's watching.

How to Join the Fun ->

 

Step 1: Enjoy the Day (for FREE!)  Everything happening at the Plaza, and at the White Rabbit Clubhouse is on the house. Bring your kids, your curiosity, and your wonderful self. No ticket needed.

 

Step 2: Light Up the Night (with a Ticket!) Ready to dance? Our nighttime celebration at Shrooms Cafe and Cooks Speakeasy is where the beats drop and the fire spinners glow. To make that magic happen, you’ll need a ticket. Your contribution helps us in bringing the heat!

 

Nighttime tickets are just $15 -$25 on a sliding scale

 

(Psst… The party at Cooks Speakeasy and Shrooms Cafe are for the 21-and-over crowd!)

Join the Fun!
Is this a free event, or is it ticketed?
Its both! All of our daytime activities are open to all ages, and free to attend! The Ashland Plaza will have tables and activities, while right across the way, White Rabbit is opening their space for more art, talks, games, and beverages!

The late night fun hosted by Shrooms Cafe and Cooks Speakeasy are ticketed, open for those aged 21+
How much does it cost?
Well, luckily free is free, so daytime fun comes to you and your family at no cost!

The night time events held at Shrooms Cafe and Cooks Speakeasy are $15 - $25, available to you on a sliding scale.

Did I mention that one ticket gets you into both locations? So you get to find your vibe, wherever it may take you!
Can I bring my kiddos with me?
All the play, the costumes, the art, and even a Kids Silent Disco are available to all ages at White Rabbit Clubhouse and on the Ashland Plaza from 12pm - 5pm.
What happens if it rains?
Well now, if you happened to join us last year, you know rain never stops us! Luckily for us, 3 of the 4 locations are hosted inside. No worries, rain or shine!
